While many times reluctant, there's no denying the teacher and even master aspects of Shaman Oz, and are the reasons why friends gravitate to him even after being away from him for long-- Likely the same reasons why you arrived here, and why cultures of the past traditionally come and seek fot The Shaman.
The Shaman has since time immemorial an integral and central part of the tribe's way of life, who guides with the wisdom that is in harmony with the natural and spiritual worlds. But while the teacher-master is indispensable, it is important to be reminded of and recognize that
True healing comes from the individual and from no one else.
And these are what Shaman Oz (or what he prefers as "Atman Oz") does, in solidarity with all of our planet's wisdom keepers and Earth stewards, to help in bringing us
Closer to our true Self, our truer nature, to our own knowing
And that includes knowing what's in our highest good and the power, responsibility, and gift that comes with "Only you can (really) heal you."
Working your shit with your shaman only means that you are once and for all coming up to shine on your own healing and trusting your shaman as he mutually trusts in your ability to do so.

Born in 1976, Joselito "Josi/Giosi/Ozi/Ozzy/Oz" Mendoza grew up to an artisitic and spiritually-dedicated family. He is father to "Bob" and husband to Weng. His foundation and explorations with what we also call as the Indescribable Out There go way back when he was in still in highschool, and in 2018 amidst a vastly changing landscape, he finally accepted the duty of shaman-- neo-shaman, if it's worth mentioning. With blessings from the Qero Andean shamans by way of Four Winds, support and encouragement by his own family and friends, Atman Oz further molded his intentions of working with Spirit, the Sacred, divine. At bilang Pinoy na 'pinanganak, lumaki, at nakatira dito sa Pilipinas, pinipili ni Atman Oz na manatili dito para ipagpatuloy ang kanyang practice, "the work" 'ika nga. Nandito ang pangangailangan at tamang panahon, walang iba. We believe it is but itself sacred to work with the land one is blessed with under their feet, to own up to it the same way we do with ourselves and make the stand from there, making it one's true homeland-- Isang hamon na hindi kasing dali ng gaya kung ang practice ay sa nasa western hemisphere kung saan mas tinatanggap itong umuusbong na pagbalik ng mga sinaunang gawi ng mga katutubong kultura, bagaman nagiging mas tanggap na (muli) ito dito, habang patuloy nating kinikilala at hinuhubog ang ating sarili bilang Bansa mula sa mas nakaraan at orihinal na katutubong pamumuhay, at maging sa mga sugat at impluwensya ng mga naging dayuhang mananakop. Atman Oz's unique and inspiring programs and services are a reflection of his own brilliance and passion, and their grounding on traditional practice allows us to find the light from ancient wisdom to help in healing our disconnected and unstable modern world.

"AOD" means "Art of Dreaming", which to us pertains to "life being a dream" and as such requires a more keen kind of perception and elegance to the greater possiblities it entails. What makes our practice even more relevant is its application to our Planet's dream which as humans we have been generally disconnected and oblivious, but are slowly coming back around to, that's why "Earth Medicine".
